PLEASE DO NOT PRACTICE NEAR THE SOFTBALL FIELD BY THE SNACK BAR ON THURSDAY/FRIDAY NIGHTS AFTER 6:30P AS THE ADULT SOFTBALL LEAGUE PLAYS THEIR GAMES ON THESE DAYS. THIS CAN BE VERY DANGEROUS FOR OUR PLAYERS, PARENTS AND SIBLINGS. IF WE CONTINUE TO PRACTICE IN THIS AREA, WE COULD LOSE ROYAL OAK FOR PRACTICES ON THESE DAYS.

    ALSO,

Please be advised that Region 602 does not have permits for any of the field space WEST of the hockey ring at Kahler-Russell Park.  The only area we (AYSO) has permits for is the grass area just beyond the parking lot off of Glendora Ave.  The interior grass and field area WEST of the hockey ring is for the Care Youth League Football Program.

    THANK YOU FOR YOUR COOPERATION...

    AYSO National Philosophy ...

Everyone PlaysEveryone Plays We want kids to play soccer - so we mandate that every player on every team must play at least half of every game.

Balanced TeamsBalanced Teams We start each season by setting up teams as evenly as possible. It's more fun when teams are of equal ability.

Open RegistrationOpen Registration Our programs are open to all children ages 4-18 who want to play soccer. Interest and enthusiasm are the only requirements for playing.

Positive CoachingPositive Coaching We train and encourage our coaches to make the extra effort to understand and offer positive help to our players, rather than use negative criticism. This approach builds a positive team spirit.

Good SportsmanshipGood Sportsmanship We create a positive environment based upon mutual respect, rather than a win-at-all-costs attitude. All of our programs are designed to instill good sportsmanship in our kids and our volunteers.
