Coaches, We are nearing yet another fall soccer season in Region 602.  In our effort to provide trained and certified coaches for the kids of our region, we are conducting training clinics which will certify you to coach for AYSO.  Please see the list below which outlines the specific certification that you will need to coach in each age division. U6    - U6 Certification (2 hrs avg). U8    - U8 Certification (2 hrs avg). U10  - U10 Certification (3 hrs avg). Sponsorship Form 2008 Sponsorship Form !! Parking at Western Christian School is strictly forbidden. Violators will be towed.! **VIP Program New to Covina** Our region is now offering a special soccer experience for players with permanent mental and/or physical disabilities (autism, Down syndrome, partial or total paralysis, etc.) Assistive devices are allowed and there is no upper age limit for these players. AYSO National Philosophy ...
Everyone Plays	We want kids to play soccer - so we mandate that every player on every team must play at least half of every game.
Balanced Teams	We start each season by setting up teams as evenly as possible. It's more fun when teams are of equal ability.
Open Registration	Our programs are open to all children ages 4-18 who want to play soccer. Interest and enthusiasm are the only requirements for playing.
Positive Coaching	We train and encourage our coaches to make the extra effort to understand and offer positive help to our players, rather than use negative criticism. This approach builds a positive team spirit.
Good Sportsmanship	We create a positive environment based upon mutual respect, rather than a win-at-all-costs attitude. All of our programs are designed to instill good sportsmanship in our kids and our volunteers.
